Privacy policy
Last updated: September 2025
This policy explains what we collect, why we use it, and what rights you have. We keep it short and specific to this website.
Who is responsible for your data
The data controller is Tectius - Soluções Informáticas, Lda, with registered office at Av. Eng. Arantes e Oliveira N3 R/C, 1900-221 Lisboa, Portugal. For privacy requests, contact contact@tectius.com. Portuguese tax ID (NIF): 517 163 756.
What data we collect
We only collect personal data when you choose to send it through our contact form: your name, email address, company name (optional), and message.
The consent checkbox on the form records your agreement at submit time in your browser session only. We do not store a separate consent timestamp in a database — the contact endpoint sends email and keeps nothing on the server.
Why we use it and the legal basis
We use your message to read and reply to your enquiry. The legal basis is your consent when you tick the privacy checkbox and submit the form.
If you are already in a contractual relationship with us, we may also rely on legitimate interest to answer operational messages related to that relationship.
Who receives your data
We do not sell or share your data with marketers. Your message is delivered by email to our team. Email transport runs on our hosting provider as a technical processor; no other recipients are involved.
How long we keep it
We do not operate a contact database. Messages arrive in our mailbox and are kept only as long as needed to respond and follow up, then deleted or archived according to our normal email practice.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and data portability regarding your personal data. You may also withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior lawful processing.
To exercise these rights, email contact@tectius.com. You may lodge a complaint with the Portuguese Data Protection Authority (CNPD) at https://www.cnpd.pt .
- Right of access — know what we hold about you
- Right to rectification — correct inaccurate data
- Right to erasure — ask us to delete data no longer needed
- Right to restriction — limit how we use your data
- Right to object — object to processing based on legitimate interest
- Right to data portability — receive your data in a structured format where applicable
Automated decision-making
We do not use your personal data for automated decision-making or profiling.
International transfers
We do not intend to transfer your personal data outside the European Economic Area. If that changes, we will update this policy and put appropriate safeguards in place.
